Aziza Albou - CEO
Aziza Albou is a public relations consultant with expertise in promoting emerging markets and managing reputations.
In 2009, she left her production manager job in Paris and moved to New York. She began her American career as an account manager at a local business magazine. Thereafter, she held various positions in marketing, writing and programming for major international media.
An entrepreneur at heart and recognizing the need for a more positive and accurate representation of emerging markets abroad, she established herself as a media consultant providing communication advisory services to clients in Africa, the United States, and Europe.
In 2016, Aziza founded AZ Media PR, an international public relations firm headquartered in New York with the aim of expanding her services and developing an even greater global reach. This was followed by the opening of a communication agency in Juba, South Sudan, in 2020, to respond to the young republic’s growing branding and investment promotion needs.
In 2022, Aziza returned to France, to be closer to her family, relocating the New York agency to Paris.
Throughout her career, Aziza acquired extensive experience in reputation management for clients in sensitive and media-shy industries and an in-depth knowledge of PR issues and project management in complex environments.
Claudia Padayachy – PR Director
Claudia is a media specialist with over 22 years in the industry. She is based in South Africa but works globally – with a focus on emerging markets.
A former journalist turned managing editor, Claudia is a veteran of creating and managing digital and printed content and is adept at multi-channel storytelling.
A pillar of AZ Media, Claudia manages the teams, spearheads international PR campaigns and oversees the content.
Her strong connections in the media industry and exceptional skills in leading marketing campaigns have played a pivotal role in enhancing client brand visibility and capturing audience attention.
She has worked extensively on projects across Africa in Angola, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa and key international markets (UK, USA, UAE).
Claudia has also helped grow AZ Media Africa, the South Sudanese sister agency, since its inception in 2020. She has been involved in all South Sudanese projects working across numerous industries in the governmental and private sectors.
